MEDICAL EMERGENCY

The following medical emergencies will be attended exclusively in hospital admitted patients:

 

• Gastrointestinal bleeding (blood in stool or vomit).

 

• Acute abdominal pain, with or without diarrhea or vomiting that does not allow to hydrate.

 

• Patient with cirrhosis who develop neurological changes, significant fluid retention, or gastrointestinal bleeding.
